The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 感恩官摄，从I'm an islander开始哭瞎，最难受的是有些东西变了有些东西没变，但我们再也回不到二十年前。
最感动的，是艺术家们沉醉于艺术之中，投入而纯粹的样子
是那种看了会感到幸福快乐的戏剧，唯一可惜的是作为一部音乐剧没有几段好听的旋律。

十二位主演，每人至少分饰两角。真是太厉害了，不论是演技还是舞台设计。结局伴奏团的单独表演也很棒。果然Me and the sky在最高潮处，真的好听。

在看到穆斯林男人被单独审问时 很难过 看到穆斯林男人的女儿不敢去学校时 更难过
其实历史永远不应该只有一面
整体很出色。
就音乐而言，没有印象很深的（其实是被女机长的那段吸引来的，结果发现在全篇里篇幅就一小段……）

这才是音乐剧，有好故事有好音乐有好表演，开大巴的那段动作非常逼真。
