The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 越是老导演的片子反而更加返璞归真，影像也不难理解，还能拍摄就是最大的意义吧

气氛营造得好，光影也漂亮。但是这到底是一个什么无聊故事。另外，真的没人觉得男主演技奇差。
彩色部分将散落的美国符号自成文本(诺贝尔奖、香烟、美国往事)，离乡者在不可归去的欧洲幻景(母亲画像)中寄于女童身体的自我毁灭守候与重生。

这片摄影和灯光好厉害，在大银幕上看真的很爽。故事倒是非常简单，拿掉身份设定其实是个男性成长的故事。
纵使系上腰带、挂上头衔……一切的失约皆是临时工的作为。如今不像是骑士的时代，每个人都像是临时工。
画面大部分是灰暗的，节奏的缓慢的。我反而对片头的大白鹅挑衅山羊🐐印象深刻。
6/10。将诺奖作家的骨灰带回故土，棺材当作牌桌、百姓吃瓜憋笑，像更私人的《杰出公民》。后半段黑白转彩色，皮兰德娄的遗作《钉子》，完成双重告别。一阵海风带走剩余的骨灰，真温柔。并不了解这对导演兄弟，所以无感弟弟与哥哥漫长的告别。

55/100，依旧拥有A24的独立调性：一种纵使风格千变万化但仍以优秀审美和求异心理所延续的精神。可惜本片不成体系的符号植入过多，节奏亦在拖累，让本应赏心悦目的风格之旅在某些时刻显得无比滞重。大卫·洛维的能力自然是不高，说句俗套的话叫只有佳句而无佳章。回头看去，《鬼魅浮生》更像个美丽的意外。
虽然故事讲明白了，但是略显无聊，不够吸引人。
有令人惊叹的超然的素材编排逻辑。作家的具体形象被隐匿，取而代之的是吉光片羽般的授勋现场；然后很快又化为乌有，变成一捧骨灰的亡魂之旅；而在这段旅途过程去照射动乱的历史后遗症、火车上的众生相、影影绰绰的情欲场；最后居然还能翻转过来，直抵他生前最核心的创作世界，虽然这完全不是传记片，但却比大部分以文学家为主体的传记片都要更有灵魂，他的生平是次要的，最重要的是他留给世界的遗产。
未写就的剧本，是对兄长的告别，亦是对电影的告白。
有诗意，没深度，这么简单一个故事能拍俩小时也是不容易。
意义很好，很适合小朋友看。大狗的效果真的失真，没啥了

有隐喻，有暗指，不过骑士对死亡的恐惧，想成为真正骑士的挣扎和纠结还是感受到了。画质也不错，叙述的方式也蛮喜欢的
画面很美，台词很美，服化道很美，配乐很美，但这故事讲得…真的有点无聊…不得不分四天才看完，也不是高困，就是想干点别的。
