9千万预算换一个没有最终剪辑权，很明显罗伯特艾格斯一心想要拍大制作电影了。
异教的哈姆雷特，北欧的王子复仇记。故事时间点正是基督教逐渐一统欧洲，原始宗教及瓦尔哈拉神殿将要崩塌之时。影片背景极其宏大，北欧奥丁神话展现得相当充分，主要场景又放到了颇具异星感的冰岛，且大牌明星云集，制作非常精良。前面的演绎还很流畅，后面的故事都有些垮了。导演为了按自己的思路走，而不顾故事的内在逻辑，几处情节不合情理。
四星半。最喜欢的《哈姆雷特》改编。完全剔除了莎翁戏剧的多愁善感。神话和写实水乳交融。
很难被娱乐到，尤其是看完权游《血色婚礼》和二丫复仇后。
