关于救赎的故事，赌场只是背景，预告片和正片是两部电影。
故作深沉，什么事情都没有讲好，ptsd，赌博，感情，犯罪，全都没有说清楚。
沉郁的气质，叙事上颇为反类型，但略显不够powerful

做闷了我一般很难看进去
节奏很慢，也并非赌片。静下心来，看到最后，实际上就是内心的反思与自我救赎。不花哨，但沉静有爱。
一定是部两极分化的电影，你能看到出租车司机的影子。保罗施拉德气质太对了，长处短处都太明显了。他太注重人物精神状态的拿捏而忽视了基本的叙事逻辑。这就让人物和叙事产生了脱节，复仇、打牌、做爱等等这些情节要素都脱离了重点。但是反而这种离心力让人物身上产生迷人气质，于绝望和痛苦中重拾人性。
人生如牌局，男主的冷静与隐忍是为了做个社会化的“好人”，但没有正确释放的权欲和攻击欲最终都要找到一个宣泄的出口。导演的童年生活对心理影响应该挺大的。

虽然我挺困的，是真困了，但是电影还是好看的，强撑着睡意看完了。
有点没看懂，快演完了，都还不知道主旨是啥，是真比赛复仇，还是互相利用，女主冲出来的意义又是什么，对复仇有作用还是比赛有作用，搞得太慢也太隐晦了，直到最后，也没弄出个有说服力的结局。男主忧郁沉闷的气质很赞，其他，，，
