The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 记录一个时代（政治），一些老片的出现挺让我惊喜：黑白中彩色的电影与戏剧/摄影很不错，一些地方比较做作/仅此，为什么是最佳原创剧本？想不通。

可以看作是一部治愈的家庭亲情剧 除了黑白光影 和《罗马》截然不同
片头这彩色全景拍的和商场里卖电视的地方放的风景片似的，还有到处不合时宜的bgm 真的想说就这呀
说教和福音味儿让人腻烦。
某些剪辑和摄影的细节稍微粗糙了点，但无法掩盖视听设计本身的好。无数次被父亲与牧师的高大身影打动，及低头掩面的老人。
故乡是离不开啊，贝尔法斯特残留着一些如同《1984》的控制感。在这样的动荡之下，buddy像所有小男孩一样发誓要娶那个喜欢的女孩。家人宽容待人处事，这样的家庭怎么会有解决不了的困难呢。
理应很私人，但童年散文般的叙事太刻意地想要讲述大时代下的暗流涌动，很难带入。

开头一段彩色就感觉要完蛋
其实任何作者在拍给家乡的电影都会因为很浓的情绪没法评价，在我心中（罗马）是封神的。本片只能拿45分。
我相信肯尼斯布拉纳说的，他确实没看过《罗马》，不然也不至于把这个片子拍成个爱尔兰版的《岁月神偷》。但他的摄影肯定看过《罗马》，不止一遍。
呃真的是毫无惊喜的命题作文式电影……2.5

别扭的像是一个大人刻意学小孩子说话。如果是主观私人回忆，为什么讲述视角通篇都没落在小男孩身上？如果是客观历史映像，那全片无所不在的仰拍镜头是在卖萌吗？
整体太松散了。演员阵容太强大，不明白为什么编剧反而得奖。
