The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 应该是个好电影，演员表演也非常真实。但看得很压抑，现实让人一言难尽。

枪杀厂长然后找到钥匙驾车载着兄弟一路狂奔才是爽戏戏码，可这一切都被压抑住了。
简称找了个新儿子/父亲的温情故事。外加喜欢钢琴的小女孩，一起学数学悟出人生道理，很有共同语言，真好啊。当然其中少不了挫折，韩剧给颗糖再加一把大刀的稳定套路。另：结局还是皆大欢喜的，可喜可贺可喜可贺。
黎曼猜想还没被证明，一百万奖金倒是真的；培养数学兴趣不如看《数学之美》。
怎么说呢，演技好是可以把鸡汤冲淡的，并且看完有种“我一个废物也可以学好数学”的冲动。

非常平庸，雷声大雨点小，从南北问题掰扯到教育体制和中产固化，底层失语，每个都轻描淡写贴一块标签，导演最终的落脚点彷佛是需要给理想主义的数学求知埋下种子和伏笔，但也是紧急刹车式操作。
黑化，是每个人必经的过程。
工人代表堕落了，最终和邪恶资本家同流合污。
金字塔最底层，有选择的话只能救自己，顾不了那么多，少谈点情怀，从粪坑好不容易爬出来只要是机会都应该抓住。

节奏极慢的电影，恰如电影里温吞理智的男主。其实就是各种妥协。
