The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 大量近景和特写镜头带来的紧张、焦虑和窒息感，太有效了。跟蒙吉那部比，格局小了，但“格局小”本身并没有对错，女主的表演也值得一个佳女。想让《钛》的导演看看，如何拍出不恶心且有效的“疼痛”。

几乎没有避讳用镜头，我不知道伴随而来一波又一波生理心理的双重不适感袭来的，算不算影片带给的精彩。。。头次看到这种犀利直面女性生育伦理的电影，不得不说我被某些画面和自己强作的感同身受给震到了～

堕胎时负重的书本富有象征意味，但亏就亏在同题材的或者用了同样痛苦的符号和做法的电影太多了，这不是比较好的一部，但确实是细腻又尖锐的一部。
在《四月三周两天》的现实主义美学基础上，将聚焦的时间扩展为冗长的战线，强调“正发生”进行时态的普遍性与持续性，将个人性向社会性发散，更为直观立体地呈现女性命运与困境。几个直接呈现堕胎场面的镜头很震撼。
