The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 原本想找的是九几年那个，下完了才发现不是。挺好的，好演员真是自带戏感。本来以为单纯是讲有前科的人怎么融入社会，其实要复杂一些。人物挺多，不能算完全串起来了吧，但总体看下来还是很流畅的，没有什么突兀的地方。
3.5星，前半部分故事有多引人入胜，结尾就有多庸俗潦草
电影很朴实，平静中隐约有种神秘力量，两个小时的时间，竟然在毫无波澜的剧情中不知不觉度过了，没有想看的兴奋点，到最后也没有大起大落。
一个速溶牛奶咖啡的三集短剧故事，浓缩成espresso一样的标准时长电影，必然有很多令人失望的剧情过渡。人物侧写让叙事变得简洁却对人物有些模糊，尤其支线反面人物变得有些跳脱。
自己默默承受一切的負面，只為保護自己最愛的人，結局暖心。
结局就这样？纯粹为了给女主秀演技的吧……其他点都是浅浅的点到为止
养父母收到露丝律师寄来的信件那段声画蒙太奇很妙，交代了露丝和罚叔的关系变化，律师的决定，以及寻找妹妹这条主线的剧情推进。

演技不错，剧情其实能猜到大概，的确最可怕的是阶层蝼蚁的原罪，难以抬头
配乐和几个镜头语言很不错，比较喜欢。
一个逻辑怪圈：为了呼吁观众对刑满释放人员的关注，给他们一个重新开始的机会，于是编剧调动一切手段合理化观众的共情：以迟来的真相将她从罪人反转为受害人，设置一位反派把她打造为英雄，彻底“洗白”了她的一身囚服。等于默认了罪人们活该被歧视、被踩踏、被隐形，哪怕他们接受了法律意义上规定的惩罚。 桑婆的表演没理由被无视。
Sandra Bullock is good. And lots of Vancouver-pretend-to-be Seattle scenes made me excited…
最后反转略为惊喜，其他拍出了很美国的样子，但五年前的水平。
刚开始是英剧的慢节奏，最后半小时才拉上正轨，显得矛盾和冲突间夹杂了细腻。反转之处其实可以处理更好一些。
人物动机无法自洽，既然花了二十年又无比执着地想走近现在妹妹的生活，兄弟复仇、出狱困境等支线有点隔靴搔痒。ps：桑德拉.布洛克演得真好。
剧情没啥，只是非常完整。亮点确实是演技，值得一个最佳提名。
不要轻看每一个人，你根本不知道ta背后有多少你无法想象的故事。
是阶级不可逾越不可改变只能以命抵命的冷酷。
