The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 在平庸的故事里也只有老爷子可以讲出牛仔的浪漫，但是小男孩太拉垮了……
60分/东木老爷子的电影是真的看一部少一部了，毕竟以91岁的高龄作为导演兼主角，只有他能做到。
这一回，即使身为东木粉，我也打不出四星了。即使是曾经最拿手的西部片+公路片（一定程度上又复刻了[完美的世界]），伊斯特伍德也还是没拍好，或许终究是英雄迟暮吧
我本以为车坏了，男孩学会了骑马，他们会一起骑马回家，结果镜头一转却是将坏掉的车修好再上路，那安排男孩学骑马这个情节就失去了意义。

把政治隐喻和东木情怀揉进一个公路片，编剧实在太狡猾了
东木老爷子还是那么cowboy
比《老爷车》稍微缺了一点点，但比《Mule》要好很多。
不忍看荧幕上风烛残年的颤巍巍老东木，对于他最后的作品，我的感觉就像片中老人对警长代理人老婆的狗所表达的话：I don't know how to cure"old"同样的意思。
这是一部“停留”片，不是延展。多一星当然是给伊斯特伍德。
又一个暮年英雄的角色，一趟明知结局的旅程，和以往的作品相比要平庸一些。但91岁还在努力创作的人，除了东木老爷子应该没有第二位了吧。

It is old-fashioned but surprisingly timely, and its clean, spare style feels classical because it’s fluent and clear-minded. Eastwood seems to be one of the few remaining filmmakers committed to conscientious storytelling.
