The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 基于二十年前改变世界的真实事件，十年前的百老汇作品，官摄在今天这样的时期放出，站在全世界最偏僻的一个角落，呼唤人与人之间的守护和善意，再没有更合适的时机了。

舞台利用最大化，每一位演员都身兼多名角色，性格反差明显，特别优秀。
