本片根据史上最大的优惠券造假骗局改编，讲述一名住在郊区的家庭主妇(贝尔饰)受够了被丈夫和社会忽视的生活。于是她试图通过成立一个非法优惠券俱乐部来重新掌控自己的生活，并最终和她的剪券同伴一起从食品公司骗取了数百万美元。雷克萨将饰演一位名叫Tempe Tina的电脑黑客。
《解救吾先生》里的反派塑造的很成功，但这部里反派发挥的空间不大，演的有点脸谱化，应该说除了黄政民，其他的人物都这样。
