The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 很久没看过这么好的青春爱情片了！复古、怀旧、轻松、愉快！
整体不如《失恋失调》。导演选择的女主都有种荷尔蒙过度溢出的熟透感，未老先衰在他的电影里像是褒义词。

可能这就是这部影片的特殊吧

甘草披萨，芝士蛋糕，莫名的就与《在街上》异曲同工了。但明显更能理解亚洲人的爱情观与思维方式。找不到爱情的火花，想不到奔跑的理由。
三星半。PTA很任性、很私人化、很美国的表达，胶片质感非常舒服。70年代的美国姐弟恋爱情故事，年轻人在时代里随波逐流，以为自己长大了，却发现成年人的社会很烂。男女主角总是在青春洋溢的奔跑着，还出现了PTA标志的蓝色光芒。因为对故事发生的年代和那时候的美国不了解，很难说看得很懂。
看起来很随意的样子，反派无脑低幼，只能说是个半成品吧。
歌好听。第一次特地去看中配，第一次做了一匹马的梦女🤗

可爱！那个片尾曲，growin up，我觉得很好听！
怀旧感真强啊。七十年代属于大门乐队。没想到是这样一种成长史。
对于南加州的再次探索与回忆一种，通篇陷于疯狂和躁动中，却让同处于这个年龄段的我完全无法共情。电影唯数不多的亮点之一大概是男女主两人的年龄设定，在这种朋友之上恋人之下的关系中躁动地徘徊徘徊。石油危机、嬉皮士、越战，这些元素融在电影里，组成了一锅味道还行的大乱炖。
不敢相信，这是pta自己的本子拍出来的....演技最好的竟然是抽烟的面试官
