The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 片里还有一条线是女儿夏天对感情的选择，有的时候分开还是继续都是心照不宣的。这种隐忍的留白，是成熟而不乏善感的温柔。
整个剧看完给你的感受大概就是：哇，画面好好看…哇，建筑好好看…哇，歌曲好好听。哇，剧情剧情在哪里。总结看了等于没看。
演员演技都不错。喜欢中间烟雾里翩翩起舞、最后在废墟上搓麻将还有水上病床的镜头

女主表演痕迹太重，整个片子影像也缺乏质感。只能说对阿兹海默症的关注值得肯定。

看到编剧是老虚，强烈怀疑他是欠了钱不情愿接了个活儿。恰完饭，一边剔牙一边扔给制作方一本《安徒生童话》，然后找富奸打麻将去了。躺平症状出现了人传人现象？身怀大爱的人鱼姬故事，女主的天降设定老套的牙都掉了，男主撑不起剧情的情绪。三颗星给丝滑的作画和分镜，看着爽就完了。适合做成MV。不过泡泡上身这种画面对密集恐惧症颇为不友好。气愤……
艺术可以搞，但是没必要。这也不是艺术啊。一个“女性视角”的片子，毫无女性视角的视听/叙事。
