The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 老夫人去世有一种唐顿庄园落下帷幕的感觉，还好Lady Mary完美地继承。
内容稳定，但是没有熟悉的大表哥，眼缘们肉眼可见的老去了。大姐还是很有魅力，成熟了。
并未看过之前的剧集与电影版，所以人物关系理不清楚，但是这种娓娓道来的正剧很对胃口。
似乎不再有从前看到主人家唤仆人时那根丝线牵引着的震动，只是一群许久未见的老友，互相絮叨着近况，尤其再这个每个人都有交代的情境下，不由得还是很想念三小姐啊。如今老太太也没能进入新时代，唏嘘更甚了。
Tv11-14合集，三个好朋友相遇，善逸沉睡打出伤害max，炭治郎打败了下玄鬼。
唐顿庄园就是那种听篇头曲就能激动起来的故事。从开篇的婚礼到临近结束时的葬礼，到最后迎来新生儿。从默片时代到有声电影。从贵族庄园到摄影基地。从英式庄园到法国南部的别墅。虽然我超爱这种贵族气质，但是大表姐也可以去做电影配音。哈，更何况每一个庄园参与者都有一份温暖的感情。一切的一切，都好感动、好暖、好喜欢。

情怀分很满，老太太永远是最喜欢的角色啊~小茶杯太帅了啊啊啊~拍电影还是很棒的，仆人们一起当群众演员好有爱（还记得他们以前采访的时候就说过自己也想化浓妆穿fancy的衣服，这就实现了~）唯一不能接受的就是家里这么大事儿家里大女婿都不带回来一趟的？？？

就像塔可夫斯基说的，拍电影就是在雕刻时光。这次的唐顿庄园，可是被雕刻得精美而悠长，厚重感也不只来自老房子和老时代。停留数十年的照片和记忆、电影跨进有声新时代的突破、生命的传承老去和新生，每一样都令人动容。It is a new era
想念Sybil和大表哥，告别老夫人，唐家屯的故事，是不是就此终结了。
电影版都看了，圣诞版也都看了，唯独电视剧版，停在大小姐速度周旋在两个男人之间，以及各种糟心的剧情。再看此片，情怀都在。依旧不喜欢司机，他简直是在编剧笔下开挂的命好，原因是去世的三小姐爱上了他。我甚至为托马斯开启“下一站人生”而欣慰。是的，在这残忍的世界里能尽量幸福！父亲大人一如既往抓我眼球，哭泣那段演的真好啊！希望还有续篇：南法度假篇（让我联想到阿婆的推理剧），玛丽跟导演再续……想不到已经十二年了，第一次看此剧是2010年。
老奶奶带着旧时代离去，有声电影标志着新时代的到来，唐顿就像个乌有之乡，即使世界即将崩坏，它自岿然不动~
确实比第一部好很多。围绕着人物，特别是即将离世的老妇人的“秘密”的揭秘，完美地给这个早已经逝去的贵族时代划上了句号。新事物“有声电影拍摄”的“入侵”，世袭身份的变迁，“同性”的认可等等，都标志着New Era的到来。善意的编导给一切都安排的Happy Ending过于完满了，怀旧的“唐顿庄园”系列应该真正结束，希望不要为了“赚银子”，再给它画蛇添足、拍3拍4喽！
如果Downton Abbey能一直出下去我愿意给五星～多线并行最开始有点乱，但越往后越好看～我一直相信从骨子里就坏的人是很少的，人性的多面性也是如此令人着迷啊……又被提到的大表哥啊(｡•́︿•̀｡)
虽说也没指望特别好，但确实剧情有点太散了。
很久没有这样独自一个人坐在电影院里让情绪自然而然地默默宣泄，再也不用担心唐顿会出现意料之外的变数，一切都是那样合情合理地发展着，连最终的永别都是如此体面安详。
