没有宏大的场面，低成本的制作像是看了一个短篇故事。本片精彩的地方在于男女主角和绑匪三人的对话，对话显露出因身份和阶层不同而产生的思想冲突。园丁的出现让剧情有了戏剧性的转折点，这里能看出各人的内心是不是良善。结局是个反转，但又没有清晰地交代女主的动机。本片不算惊悚，倒是有点黑色幽默。
