The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 中規中矩的公路電影，每段插曲都蜻蜓點水。2022.5.16， 湳山戲院。
包括装瞎子那段其实也很搞笑，虽然被抓进监狱那段有点不知所云，而且那个被扑倒的人很明显有问题吧，但是没有接着说下去。
钱老板自导自演，没有突破，中规中矩，观感五味杂陈。典型的那种你说不好看还能看，你说能看又有点浪费时间，你说不感动又有点小心悸，你说感动又很难深陷其中的电影。钱老板+狗+公路片，平淡的犹如一碗佐餐的番茄鸡蛋汤而已，很温暖很家常，缺乏惊喜。
