The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 因为日本的罪案题材基本没有太容易抓获的凶手，所以很早就猜到真凶是谁。从这一点上来讲，这个故事并不成功。
表面是悬疑案件，内里却是表达大地震后的日本社会人们内心的创伤。地震后社会保障类的工作量剧增，大家都很累，经历了地震创伤的人们心里也很累，但还是呼吁关照那些真正有困难的人。阿部宽表现的中规中矩，他在这部电影里的脸色和形象感觉更适合去演僵尸片。清原果耶表演的不错，不过也还是比较稚嫩，需要继续锤炼。佐藤健的传统日本小年轻的吊样演的也挺好，就是这种人物形象并不讨喜。
苦大仇深的无聊和困惑，濑濑敬久正常发挥罢了。
这编剧脑洞也蛮大的
导演的能力显然没法驾驭，幸好演员皆在水准之上，我对王啸坤的印象还是带我去寻找……以至于快结尾才认出来。

结局真的大减分，如此巧合的人物关系显得太刻意了。全片最复杂和深沉的角色没想到是只有机场戏的瑛太，一面惺惺作态的扮演者政府人员，一面却可以一个人修复被海啸摧毁的墓地，内心世界得多纠结和复杂啊……
