The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很多点巧妙地连起来了，很喜欢，有点像爱情神话。
另，几首潮汕方言的歌，还都挺好听的。

结尾手持的部分救回了中间凌乱的剪辑。后面两首插曲很赞
真实还原了外地人在潮汕人家饭桌上的场景，一句话也听不懂却莫名的感觉温暖。
第一次看自己家乡方言的院线电影，并没有预想中“土”的尴尬，片中大量细节的刻画和本地人才get得到的梗，让我这位离家半年的游子感到十分地亲切。
有种刻意营造出的真实，有些段子幽默是不是太过头了，演员素人还是稚嫩跳戏，冲突做的不错，是个完整的故事
但是结局有点水，结束收得太快了，怎么两人突然就和好了，没交代清楚，这里完完全全可以让两人有和好的"迹象"再结束，留个开放式的结局。
三星半吧。前半部分展现出来的民风民俗和烟火气很动人，后半部分就有点强行HE，人物转折没啥说服力。也罢，贺岁档总需要大团圆结局。
虽然不太喜欢，但是妈妈演的好舒服，在那个想要孙子的邻居给妈妈炫耀她的小孙女好可爱的时候忍不住哭了
刻板印象背后真实可爱的小人物，温暖朴实得让人感动
还不错，很有地方特色，烟火气十足。就是潮汕话真的一点都听不懂。

把潮汕上一辈的妈妈演的入木三分啊，太棒了！
把很多熟悉的习俗都体现出来。上一部主角和爸爸，这一部主角和妈妈。拍的很有同感。
这么个简单到有点土的片子竟然把我感动得稀里哗啦的。音乐也配得太煽了。
夫妻算账摆酒席。
就是听不懂，有种看韩剧的感觉。😂
潮汕文化部分表现得很好，家人的角色演得都很自然很真实。不过确实如很多人所说，后面的转折过于突然和平淡，前面花了大量篇幅在铺垫，矛盾凸显的时刻有点晚了。
