配乐淡化了些许工整匠气，学院派的良心之作。
酒吧内好像从未经历过六十年代，酒吧外上演着六十年代。观众是往窗外看的人，警察微笑着在干草市集酒馆外摘掉警徽……影片剪辑快利，叙事节奏流畅。美国六十年代民运代表侧画像，集反对越南，挑战父权，种族歧视多重视角。小麻雀适合海登身上那种体制内的基因挣扎，会在看到死党被打后，激奋地鼓动示威人群用流血的方式掀起浪潮，也会在审判休庭时条件反射的站起身来。痞子艾比更接近理想主义，会凝视镜头说出愿意用生命取消革命的话。检察官问你藐视你的政府吗？他回答，远不上政府藐视我的程度。
原本以为很严肃（确实也很严肃）但tsn的味道很浓，两个最不正经、插科打诨并不合作的yippes是本片最严肃也是最理想主义的人。索金仍然擅长于拍摄庭审场面、对话和群戏，开头半小时很难不想到tsn。the power of speech在庭审场面几乎成了一个irony，无论是真实地黑豹党领袖噤声或是通过驳回动议来体现司法权力的滥用和亵渎。把真实的纪录片和电影画面、所有证人的视角和庭审剪切一起，女孩被击倒在星条旗上扯碎衣服时，暴力和非暴力的界限已经不再明确了。
企图用高强度的对白协同剪辑制造出本不存在于历史情境当中的情感波动，但本质是以违背现实情境作前提的，因此是一部电视剧。对历史还原毫无塑造“在场”的意识，十足证明艾伦·索金对历史事件复原的兴奋点是一种粗暴意淫的快感。
足够美式的审美和价值观，不足之处是有些地方实在煽情过度，但不得不承认起码在当下我很喜欢——今日朝鲜新增1.8万发热病例，特此标记——因为无数次深入绝境，才积蓄了更多的爱意和希望
4.5 我是真的太喜欢这部电影了，对政治毫不感兴趣的话看起来也一点儿不费力，索金的剧本能力一如既往的扎实。据说这部电影13年前就立项了，现在美国政治环境下拍出来倒是刚刚好十分合适。但缺点也很明显，就是太工整了，所有条条框框都是无形地被框死的，演员少了很多发挥的余地。另外，一部电影能集合这么多我喜欢的演员（小雀斑、囧瑟夫和Jeremy Strong）真是不容易

这才是好的故事。水银泻地般铺开，又能紧紧地收住。好像网飞挺擅长这招的。

剪辑凌厉（但有一处扰乱故事线然而，宣讲、开庭相接，会造成奔赴芝加哥受审的错觉，实际情况是抗议后被捕、被告）。

索金写本子的时候都没想到这部会有多应景吧。有几段游行者和警察对峙戏的背景音乐热血得像台湾青春电影。以及，雀斑又一次演了街垒旁的schoolboy。
浹淇说：“在此时这部电影的社会意义大于电影本身。”我也这么认为，换个时间，我可能都不会选择在周末看这样一部zz庭审片。跟《燃情岁月》里的父亲一样，一直主张远离zz，但其实我们的生活处处跟它息息相关。才看了没三分钟，C就说“这不会是那个人编剧吧？”一查，真是，艾伦·索金，太厉害了，好久没见过台词写得这么精密又有效的了，有点新好莱坞时代或者比利怀德鼎盛时期的意思。人物很有意思，性格面貌不同，充分体现出阶级差异。萨莎太出彩，他这种表面嘻嘻哈哈的人容易被大众误解，其实内里最坚强也最正义，行动上也很有逻辑支持，算是这7人中最让我喜欢的。小雀斑的角色最后没让人失望，骨子里还是manly的。故事相对简单化了一些，但有高密度的台词打底，还是很有看头的。
一开始比较难进入状态，一旦进入状态就感觉燃起来了。 8/10
我看着挺费劲的，里面的角色一个都不喜欢，难以通感共情。印象派电影，台词和镜头贼啦密，咣咣一顿剪一通讲，挺好是都挺好的，但转身就忘，努力集中注意力跟住，哎怎么就吵起来了哎怎么就休庭了哎这又干啥呢？还没办法快进和倍速，不然头更晕。观影结束，什么台词啊场景啊人物啊电影都讲了啥啊，只有些许印象，就是看过了，哎好像是讲了个这么个事儿，哎他们都起立鼓掌欢呼敬礼了，那我也鼓个掌吧。
“永葆热爱，永怀善良，永远温柔”仍然是我们面对残酷最好的武器。
