The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实拍的有点复杂了，但还是能在说到孤独的那个点时泪崩，本尼真的演得好
卷福演这种片子驾轻就熟，天才又有点神经质的特质对他而言感觉就是放假间隙随便拍一拍。这一部电影大约给个75吧，没有大错也没有太多惊喜
本尼是天才型的演员。电影的服化布景精致用心，但最打动我的是最后那些画。

虽然不成熟的地方不少，但我依然认为导演是个超级妙的人。他的《那些花儿》是我最喜欢的剧之一。世界上的人分为猫系人和犬系人，猫系人看这片多少会有点心有戚戚焉吧。
其实就是一个简单的童话，哪怕就是死亡与追悔，都是用幻觉这么温馨的方式展现，但是谁不希望童话故事里那些美丽在自己生活中发生呢？于是这个节奏慢，天真的故事有这么多打高分

面对几乎无法抬头的不间断的人生打击，还要从生活里发现美，是爱的力量。
选角导演们现在是一看到天才角色一键打给本尼了。电影本身不太行，某些镜头运动怪怪的。小猫也不够多，难过，预告片里猫猫好多。
复古式的画面，古老的英国乡村风光，悲催的家庭，可爱的猫咪。卷福的表演太有特色了，画家的笨拙、啰嗦、痴迷被他演绎得极其真实。画家韦恩的人生与他作品中的猫生对比鲜明，导演也采用了这种对比手法，展现了韦恩的爱情、亲情、家庭，并让观众看到其作品的美。值得一提的是，那个年代画猫是一件需要勇气的事情。
