The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 动画的制作水平很高，但后半部分剧情直接稀烂，毫无逻辑可言
能看到很多作品的影子，大红鱼和小女孩是《大鱼海棠》，海兽站起来的压迫感像《哥斯拉》，故事情节又有点像《驯龙高手》，整体是熟悉的感觉，所以谈不上惊喜，是一部中规中矩的冒险动画。
因为不理解才会有偏见。长得可怕的怪兽未必是邪恶的。大叔+萝莉的冒险故事。粉色沙滩。复仇的生物难以控制。英雄有时候也是错的。
故事挺老套的，而且怪兽把他们带到新小岛的时候还期待能看到更多种类的怪兽，结果总共也就讲了3种怪兽和1个宠物。

【第一感觉打分】剧情比较俗套，阎魔的强大似乎没有体现出来，设定上过于省事了。好在故事紧凑，画面也流畅，所以即使没有惊艳，观感也不会差。
真就鸣人转世全靠嘴遁呗。
“他们是英雄，但也是会出错的。”往大了讲，这就是认知闭环，人永远不可能认清这个世界，因为对于无尽的真理而言生命只有一瞬间。
虽然剧情俗套，以及满满的美式圣母内核，不过制作还算精良，值得一看。
