The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 历史剧，解放曼德拉的之战，虽是恐袭演变的银行劫案，人性和种族自由的抗争以悲剧结束。穿插一场告密游戏。

虽说是根据真事改编，但片中情节编得比较过分，煽得过于用力。影片成本不高，场景不大，基本相当于剧场表演。男主、女主两名黑人演员表现不错，演得挺有张力，值得加分。不过其中一些情节编得有些离谱，bug明显，因为借着“释放曼德拉”的由头，导演偏向同情“MK”，赋予他们很多“人性”的细节，让人们对他们最后的结局产生同情。
根据真实事件改编 值得一看。银行主管小姐姐死得太冤了。
前面确实是气的，妥妥的骗婚啊。后面好多了，或许日系唯美加了层滤镜吧。人们说着喜欢和接受性少数群体，却带着特殊眼光看身边的男同。男主的朋友真的是小天使啊……
自由的代价是非常昂贵的，除了需要得到绝大多数人的支持，而且还需要革命者牺牲。
