剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     众所周知，科恩是黑泽明粉丝，黑泽明是莎翁粉丝。所以这部电影是不是透过的布层有点多了，反而费劲。

    哥哥单飞处女作。没有了黑色幽默，这次可谓把舞台剧形式感做到最足。黑白影像，打光极为讲究，整体来说还是很舒服的，不知在大银幕上是什么感觉。与之相比同样是A24的胶片《灯塔》更出色一些。

    Denzel的气质驾驭主角尚且可以，演技单论，但是夫人的选角是不是有点太老了。极简的黑白影像，有些《沙丘》的空间感+《纪念碑谷》的线条感，有点看艺术装置展的感觉，好在片长控制的还可以，算是一部走氛围重心理的麦克白。

    大科恩的改编剧本太保守了，戏剧舞台和电影结合，台词几乎莎翁原版，剧情也好像没什么变化。还是现代改编老作品的一贯视角，所谓结构经典神话勾连现代人们的精神困境，这点倒不是乔伊斯的意识流味儿而是偏精神分析各种符号的生添硬加。

    这光影的反差，不知为何很有张艺谋+纪念碑谷的感觉，尤其是飞出屏幕的大乌鸦……分镜也很厉害啊，云雾中的换景非常巧妙。最让人惊喜的是打戏，舞台剧居然也能做得拳拳到肉。就最终的呈现效果而言，称得上古典文学与现代工业相结合的最优解之一，希望能照着这个质量，将莎翁的全套作品翻拍一遍。PS：感觉我们的京剧电影也可以学习一下啊。PPS：因为这部电影认识了丹泽尔华盛顿，很庆幸。

    I have no words it’s so well made in every single aspect. I loved the witches, the birds, the leaves, the girl in the water, the monologue. Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington are THE actors of their generation. Will need a rewatch with subtitles in the future.

    莎翁的作品还是伟大。麦克白的悲剧或许在于无法听到自己的声音，无法循着自己的使命妥善过一生，听了太多谗言蒙蔽了自己的双眼。
