The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 新作者登场，手工奇迹，这个时代难见的珍稀品。已见与未见的集体之殇混合私人记忆，回荡在阴阳虚实明暗、严肃嬉笑怒骂之间。平面置景好比戏台，台上台下台前台后都在“照镜”，每一场戏都在“结晶”。这些晶体并非完美无瑕，我看前面还有些难入戏，建国后的部分是越看越入迷。
想起《人·鬼·情》。有不少那种至死不会忘记的神笔段落。中国人究竟有多苦，得将历史一遍一遍重述。
TV版6-10集。boss无惨现身，简单介绍了其势力组成，主角进一步修炼。标准展开，标准的分数。

很有意思的电影，没想到可以这样讲述一个人（一群人）的故事，阴阳交错，嬉笑怒骂，人生如戏，人死如戏。即便是三个小时的长片看下来也不会无聊。看的时候脑子里蹦出了一些其他类似的作品：画面和表达有一点韦斯安德森的感觉，故事的结构让人联想到《戏梦人生》，阴间故事人物的妆造和行为好像有寺山修司电影里那种怪异感。
“韦斯安德森式霸王别姬”。作为四川人完全无法理性评价的一部电影，充满鬼气，看完手脚发凉。
