The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     戏里是给逝去的妻子招魂，整部片也像是给香港功夫／武打片招魂。开场竹林戏的切磋加谈情你可以看到《卧虎藏龙》《一代宗师》甚至《少林足球》！公交车的打斗戏则当然致敬了成龙还有《老男孩》的横轴长镜头，降魔戏用的还是《功夫》的如来神掌。所以戏里元华被吸走灵魂像是一个隐喻，有些东西永远消逝了，你要move on.文武和成年子女第一次团聚回忆亡妻那场戏，bgm 是《但愿人长久》，的确用心了。

    就觉得尚可吧，所有人素面朝天不是不能接受，那种漫画脸大张着嘴有点没法接受。确实一锅乱炖的感觉。没有突出重点，吃了一顿流水席，看似花团锦簇，摸摸肚子好像还是空的。故事内核其实是可以的，对于尚气一家家庭关系的反思，缺席而追求权力的父亲，被牺牲的母亲，两个被占据了生命的可怜孩子。究竟内心有多么恐怖会这样对待自己的孩子？值得反思，不知道有没有人细看十环中究竟都是什么字，很有意思。
