The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 期待值太高反而觉得比较一般，不过也是最近看过的“日影”里，最“日影”的一部了。骨子里还是两个看不见未来的人，携手借着月亮的光辉，在这个世间流浪。不过我很好奇，这么让人投入其中的内核，为何就拍得如此零碎，感情也在反复挣扎里找不到方向。
原来流星和丝丝已经可以演这种床戏了 甚至可以演家暴戏了🚬子役和丝丝真的蛮像欸 两个人演得都很不错 但是真的是好惨的一个故事啊 所以我永远搞不懂霓虹金 为什么不能解释呢 虽然可能也解释不清楚 桃李这个人设真的好惨 最后脱衣服真的是震to the撼 什么时候能演点不那么惨的人呢😢
最后村长脱了没个近景差评！看了半天看不清道具，片子太长磨磨唧唧，另外的看点就是流星的家暴渣男
外国人拍电影讲中国话，不能请个配音？听着真难受
额，连看了怒和流浪之月，居然是一个导演，感觉女主都一样
球球豆瓣把“犯罪悬疑”这个标签去掉，
镜头挺细腻的 然而还是看了个不明所以 横滨流星感觉还是演安静的美少年比较好
看了确实没小说那么强烈，电影是挺长的但是好多是长镜头堆砌出来了，导演删去了好多情结，让原本的小说故事讲出来又显得非常突兀。故事内核是不变的，只是电影形式表现上的缺失让人看的云里雾里，就是跟少了一种对故事本身和故事里人物的一种感同身受，你无法去代入带那样的情感，完全没了小说的那种感觉。这拍出来只能让我说是浪费了演员跟题材。
续集挺烂的，特效不错。看结尾貌似还有第三部
拖这么长，有必要吗…明明100分钟可以解决的故事硬生生拉到两个半小时，叙事结构对不起卡司这么尽力的表演…难得看到主要演员全员状态在线的戏
李相日还是一如既往地慢，加上这次没看过原作也不知道他又自作主张改了多少剧情，反正我是没看懂到底想说什么……世人的偏见和误解吗？其实男主并不是炼铜癖只是X无能？……村长真的辛苦了，愿裸贷早日还完（× 但是摄影是真不错，OST也特别好，尤其丝丝大街奔走插叙河边分别情绪拉满。片尾滚字幕那段好像星际探索的says，留意了下曲作是原摩利彦。ps：听说流星ins掉了3w粉，就离大谱。樱花妹好好珍惜你日还敢于突破自我挑战DV男这种渣设定的人气若手吧（也没有说他演得多好的意思），本熊猫妹马上去关注。
基本把第一部的故事重复了一遍，而且这部势力更多，也缺少交代，女主居然还是个面瘫演技。
仔细想的话 其实并没什么不对 病态的是这个社会 是真正的罪犯（哥哥）被隐匿的社会 是对家庭暴力视而不见的社会 在这个女孩无处可去的世界里 只有性缘缺失的男性才是完美的避风港（不能对霓虹要求太高
丝丝的演技可圈可点 很动人 长相太喜欢了又甜美又有韧性 戏路真的很宽 就是这故事是个啥啊……
可能有人看完会觉得恶心，或者觉得不过又是几个心理病患的故事，但我觉得这其中包含远超这些可以一语概括的纤细情感。摄影方面没得说，优秀的作品就是可以调动演员和观众的情绪，几个主演挨拶时都表示自己演得很痛苦，本观众os看得也很痛苦（（并且看完会有很久的余韵。没有看过原著，看完电影有点想去补一下原著了。只是两个半小时虽然没有到让人觉得冗长的地步但也的确有点过长了
饿看完我怎么就同情不起来呢，不知道是不是电影拍摄的问题，这俩人第二次相遇明明可以避免事态发展成这样，但是豆任由事态往最坏的方向发展发展，特别是女主，对广濑丝丝无感，她的演技总给我一种灵魂出窍置身事外的感觉，子役演的就自然多了

两个半小时太长了，既然没怎么交代童年，大可以缩减篇幅。不过，那种伤痛让人一生流浪的氛围感还是拍得不错。
跟上一部有点联系，但感觉更像一个独立的类似故事。讲的也是一个实验对象跑了，一帮人追杀她的事，这个实验对象女主打斗超能力很猛。豆瓣暂无评分
不過選角好絕，演員的氛圍很還原角色，還有演技都進步好多ps.未來再看到村長裸體不會再有內心波動了（白鳥玉季真的很靈，之前沒覺得她像絲絲，一演童年發現好像！
