The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 该有的都有了，老谋子的答卷交得不错，也给女儿练到了，当然，本片也有不少可以拍的更好的地方，片子完全可以以更巧妙的方式完成叙事，不过作为这个档期“半道杀出”的片子，确实是不小的惊喜。
撇除掉枪战和战争元素，这电影其实很接近话剧，在一个相对狭小封闭的空间创造剧情。从这个角度来说，后期炸坦克的剧情就突兀了，不如去掉。一句题外话：最近这么多朝鲜战争主题的电影，真是让人细思恐极…
他们牺牲时都还那么年轻，热血刚强，勇敢无畏。
个人张艺谋十年最佳。煽情稍微有点狠，但最终基本上都起效果了。
这样小视角多好，不用喊口号，不用打鸡血。伟大的牺牲不会矫情。
太烂了，尤其枪战场面，烂片，根本看不下去。

去繁从简、以小搏大。
挺好的一片子。别的先不说，就凭时长先从动不动两小时往上压回90分钟，就值得好评。故事不错，画面也OK，最后碰到连长和大部队时真的瞬间泪目。给老谋子点赞。
前情铺垫不够，人物动机立不住，观众很容易脱戏，让全篇都变成了为了煽情而煽情，三星给章宇的真诚演出，而整个作品作为主旋律片是不合格的，对于我军军魂的表现流于表面，没有触碰到真正的内核，很可惜。

非常喜欢——每个角色都非常真实，他们除了是战士，是志愿军，更是父亲，是丈夫，是兄弟，镜头给那些被标注以“英雄”的人，雕刻了最生动的注脚。最不知名的小战争下，有最闪光的人性。张艺谋，很棒，一如既往。
