比利小子的后传，情节渲染的不错，寥寥几个人物刻画得都很传神，近年来最好的西部片之一，在武侠、西部片相继衰落的今天，能有这样的佳作，属实不易，虽然比不上黄金年代的巨作，但也绝不是乏善可陈。
有感情，但太少了。缺少英雄暮年的悲情，突兀地被杀像是被强加给的悲剧，而不是不可饶恕那样出于自身的迟暮，自然而然的悲情。
