The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 趙婷拍父子情，捕捉的是四手聯彈的家庭鋼琴表演，這一幕令我淚目。或許這也成為弗恩最後決定告別戴夫的原因——看到別人的「homeship」，才發現自己其實是真的homeless而非houseless。她明白那是她永遠失去的東西，與戴夫友情裡的crush瞬間也終無法彌縫兩個世界的分野，於是她回到路上。每個在路上的人都帶著各自的傷痛，而connect to the earth是nomads的最大解藥。更令我喜悦的是，电影不再聚焦以往西部之旅与男性力量互相捆绑的设定，通篇从女性主体视角出发，这多难得。

在一片苍茫与寂寥之中剖开了一些实际上很尖锐的社会问题，碎片化的叙事蛮见功力，但总觉得不够深刻又没能达到理想中的那种境界。

还有一个感动我的，房车营地营地有人去世，每个人都往火堆里扔她最喜欢的石头，费恩扔进去了一块巨大的。
一部值得用力去感受的电影…… 这样的一切太深沉.

居无定所、安居乐业、游牧民、西部开拓者……从美国传统来看，有些灵魂是注定“被流浪”的。当一类矛盾与民族性紧密关联时，它的化解本身就是矛盾了。
这是不是首部关注这类不得不上路的边缘人的电影？
麦姨已经出神入化了，这里根本分不出哪个是演员，哪个是真的游牧一族。最后黑幕起，“献给不得不上路的人，我们路上再见”，全剧的克制都在这两句话释放，戳中泪点。哪有那么多的浪漫，很多时候上路都是不得已的。不管是生活所迫还是为了疗愈内心，终究还是要活下去啊。

在亚马逊工作那段心里最大的感觉就是，互联网把老人都赶去哪里了？工厂和去消亡的路上。
