The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 主题立意还是有些探讨性的，结局很悲伤，但存有一丝悲怆的暖意……
1. 作为科幻片但没有任何新意，讲克隆技术的电影已经有很多了。旧瓶装的也是旧酒，对家人的无条件的爱早已是陈词滥调，因而所有人物形象都扁平而无活力，演员很费劲。2. 正如不知所谓的湖山风光，如此一个和社会伦理联系紧密的主题，为什么会被隔绝在社会之外讨论。3. 科幻电影的社会价值之一是对科技理性的批判，然而这部电影的黑科技完美无缺零bug零差评，完全没有任何对技术理性的警惕。4. 也许是因为启用了月光男孩的演员，电影似乎想模仿一种文艺风格，大量特写和长镜头却让人尴尬。5. 记忆也许是个可以深挖的点，但却简单粗暴地描述为数据复制。记忆怎么可能被数字化呢

本以为剧本会讲述科技伦理或是记忆与真实的议题，最后还是用看似高概念的设定讲述了“爱”，很本真，很质朴。
自己知道自己寿命不久，像带孩子一样的培养克隆人去照顾家庭，这个心情也太复杂了，虽然百分百克隆自己，但是也终究是另一个人。。。不过是我自己的话，乐得清闲
