The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 这片其实线上播放就可以了。不过在大银幕看肯定比在线上好看，所以多给了半星。寻宝探险类的电影，有《夺宝奇兵》《国家宝藏》，甚至《加勒比海盗》的影子，但没有任何高于这几部电影的亮点。不仅平庸至极，而且节奏也有问题。这种电影节奏应该很快才行，可以调动观众的情绪，让观众兴奋起来。结果这部电影的武戏和文戏的节奏一样慢吞吞，看得差点打瞌睡。逻辑问题也很多，多到没必要举例。看结尾的意思是还有续集，荷兰弟探险宇宙？
IMAX Cineworld Leicester Square | 非常非常不喜欢荷兰弟，但是电影好好看哦！用直升机吊宝藏船的场景好有意思，可能是因为我越来越不爱动脑，审美越来越趋向小朋友。几个取景地都美极了，立刻准备去旅游。
看的出来有些画面在向游戏努力靠，但是槽点还是太多了。最后，还是塌的太少了哈哈哈。
这中文名称让我想着咋看到一半还没见到海呢…为了荷兰弟和纯放松来看，就基本上达到目的 别太认真 看个热闹就完了～想知道哥哥咋了…
经典游戏改编，看了一个多小时才出现神秘海域，前面寻宝探秘也太顺利了，有一种看着提示完成游戏的感觉。好在最后飞机和船上的大战足够刺激。结尾有彩蛋，应该还有续集。
个人评分:6.0。我看的时候老跳戏，我老感觉荷兰弟下一秒就要变身小蜘蛛[捂脸]，剧情又有点太简单，节奏快的离谱，不太喜欢。
看着看着感觉有点不一样，一看...宗教故事改编电影。
从偷手链到抢黄金的故事。叙事平淡无味，人物都像符号。也就最后二十分钟的动作戏还不错。
低配成龙回旋踢，贼不走空兜藏金。
如果是别人演勉强及格，荷兰弟演，两星以下。看完怎么说呢？毫无惊喜，两个男主几乎没有性格魅力上的塑造，以至于大结局你根本对两人毫无感觉，俩女主也是工具人，尤其是一刀杀老大得情节，简直莫名其妙，反派降智，情节干瘪，连合家欢的爆米花电影都算不上，就每次情节转折你都以为它会憋一个大的，然而真的转折后你就会发出，就这？这样的感叹，关键是这种转折出现了三次以上，以至于最后都懒得猜，只能摆出快结束吧！爱咋咋地的表情。反派不强就代表主角很弱，荷兰弟算新生一批里流量和演技都在的明星了，实在想不出为啥演了这样的烂片，结尾看样子还有2，可得了吧！
剧情本身是随意的，但想到结合宗教意向，也就可以理解了。somehow结尾paul的道歉那里还是有点感动。
我只想说：Eric现在是非恋童癖的角色一概不接吗？Euphoria第一季过来的…
5.7分。充分利用请假时间而做的临时之举，被金逸的IMAX彻底打败。还拉上了同学一起看，本想着会是放松爆米花，结果比预想之中还要无聊和无语。又找到了当初看《变形金刚5》和《黑衣人》时候的感觉，只不过这次难堪的是，我拉上了我同学……这是他的第一次IMAX观影。
咱不能强行要求一部剧情片有动作戏吧？对吧？所以说吧，咱是不是同样也不能要求一部动作片有强剧情呢？尤其是游戏改编的…对吧？能让我怀念强大美好的成龙时代已经很好了。但是荷兰弟的演技…嗯行吧，努力了…
哈，看样子不管哪种伪君子，都爱讲圣徒劝妓从良的故事。可这男的哪里有一点性吸引力吗，谁要跟他做爱啊。
假，真假……看了半天找不到好的托辞觉着还是个假字了得。没有了小时候观看类似题材电影时的紧迫紧张的感觉，成人的感官会随着年龄的增长变得愈加迟钝看来是真的，不然为啥很多贰佰伍貌似无故要寻求所谓的刺激？！编剧在解密情节上基本就没下功夫，全是胡编乱造糊弄人，本来是核心的反派也死的不知所云，拍的非常一般。
不得不说，看完之后，我想去玩玩神海1到3了～

我真的没想到今年的中外电影都这么惨淡，以至于我在短短一周内说了一百次“没有期待就没不会失望”，好莱坞和国产电影好像在欲与《上海堡垒》试比烂，没有最烂，只有更烂。这类寻宝冒险电影的拍摄已经是一张人尽皆知的流水线快餐菜谱：一个不知道从哪个地摊公众号上扒拉的魔幻传说，加上几个一脸蠢样的白男、几个拿腔拿调的脑残反派、几个可有可无的花瓶女演员，再配上完全不好笑的笑话、轰隆作响的特效以及等于没有的文戏，一部“糖衣包屎”就做好啦。具体而言，这部电影里以汤姆荷兰德为代表的白男演员特别蠢，以那个西班牙蠢贼为代表的女演员特别丑，以麦哲伦藏黄金为主线的情节特别生硬，莫名其妙就死掉的西班牙反派和不会好好说话的黑人女boss特别脑残，因此本人的评价特别低。
