The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 信仰的光，
赤脚莎翁和土味权游的缝合怪，美剧感强烈，且完全不理解为何拍这么长。另外拍惊悚片出身的导演是不是都是怼脸镜头爱好者？
故事复制莎士比亚的王子复仇记。阴郁的色调很用功。电影音乐也很亮。140分钟很冗长，减掉40分钟完全不影响剧情，或许能更加干练。我认为电影是拍给现代人看的，要共他们的情。
这难道不是最强文化输出？girl power点赞。

北欧民俗风情展示片，王子复仇记的故事讲成这样也还算是吸引人的，但相比于导演邪门前作，本片拍成这样实在是过于普通了（反而是去年的绿衣骑士，可以和女巫以及灯塔一起成为A24的邪门三部曲
这么老套的剧情真是难以想象，舞台剧风格让人昏昏欲睡，唯有部分画面值得一看……
