The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 蛮有意思，用了音乐剧，电影，MV穿插形式，让我觉得很有新意。那个sunday的片段很有意思，“一群傻子应该在周日上午在家里，非要在这个铝合金材质的餐厅里花钱喝冷的合成果汁和微波炉贝果”，笑4

又是那种把后台故事搬上前台的歌舞片，有剧情起伏有人物成长弧光，爱情友情一应俱全，就是没说清楚作者的创作困境和突破到底是为了啥，可说是有形无神。全片的歌除了关键性的那一首之外基本都没法听。
和Whiplash之间差100个La La Land
看过rent，见到其中一版mimi的扮演者也有参演这部电影。端了五年盘子，写了最重要的那首歌，花了八年时间准备的presentation获得巨大好评，依然无法出道，所有追梦人的一个缩影。好在伯乐和朋友的鼓励让他继续坚持下去。rent的故事原来是来自他的朋友们，可惜生命停在了剧上映前一夜，好像唐涤生，天妒英才。似乎都是这样敏感、脆弱和感性。
由於JGL久未有新作 我宣布加菲暫列我心中談the cutest thing第一名 電影真的乏善可陳 一開始好多cg過於明顯 劇本太基本太安全了 總而言之加菲是最好的（。）
开篇很棒。作为传记电影，材料编织甚至做到了让观众能理解“生平+编剧叙事”双结构的程度，这一点相当不错。
没有必须坚持的梦想或信仰
因为是真实故事加一星，而且我还真的看过吉屋出售的音乐剧。整体是音乐剧形式的演出。
看到有些朋友因为某些缘故都会拿它与另一部音乐片做对比，但很遗憾，各方面，各方面它都无法比拟LaLaLand. 包括感情线

无法接受歌这么难听的音乐电影。男主不真诚的演技看得我汗毛倒立。

All I see is a white man whining about his life. :) He treats his girlfriend bad and he treats his gay friend bad.
加菲完全融入了角色，这一次他很用力，褒义的。
是很残忍的事情
本来是最应该让我感同身受的行业，但我却看得毫无共情。剧作家的早逝确实令人扼腕，但他生前的一切都是通俗的励志模板。
噢，还有一句台词得送给我自己。
為夢想拼搏就像是沒有後路的豪賭，要麽功成名就，要麽粉身碎骨。不是所有人的努力都會被看見，主角是幸運的，但是任何人都有放棄的權利，只要不去後悔。
LMM第一部导演长片成功了！很励志！很感人！加菲真的很强！
