The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影并不是没有缺点，但是伴随着感人的BGM和真实的故事，我已经忘记了这些缺点，沉浸在故事的真情中去了。
运动员的薪酬与退役后的去处，这不仅是一个社会问题。也是个人身份转变的适应程度与自身事业的一种坚持。
感人主题没有错，没有做得更好的原因是因为收宫处理不及青少年夺冠时那么有感觉，使得电影节奏先扬后抑，到结尾就难以再抬起来了。苏桦伟三个时代的演员衔接非常棒，观众有看着他成长的感觉，吴君如的妈妈是托住整个戏的灵魂。
“想找个人给你剪指甲”……最后这一段落感动到了
大概是因为去看电影之前看了各种片段，本想哭一场却没实现。运动员真是不容易，残障运动员更不容易，希望同工同酬！苏桦伟很辛苦，妈妈很辛苦，弟弟很心酸，一直活在哥哥的影子中。

第三幕是重头戏，道出很多无奈和挣扎，然后又是怎样从中找到方向。前面的戏略显煽情，然而瑕不掩瑜，应该要多些这种有关怀有温度有鼓舞同时也有思考的电影，这才是香港电影的质地。
可以说是今年看过最泪目的一部电影。
