The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 短小精悍，网大里的精品。笑点都整的挺好，崔志佳可以
俗而不色，乐而不尬。下岗喜剧人再就业，开心麻花出来的小演员确实会比起刘老根大舞台那些演员注重剧本的设计，对于隔着屏幕观看的表演缺乏现场氛围后的不尴尬是喜剧着重的地方。其实故事的很多笑点设计也是那些俗套的设计，但是它并不下流，好笑的地方也并不高级，甚至故事也并不高级，他依旧保持着小品的水平，但是它网大的定位却让它有些鹤立鸡群和超出预期了。其实开心麻花很多普通的本子用来拍网大是一个稳定的流水线了。
网剧中算好的吧，为什么六分不到。不带脑看看挺不错，也不尬。除了一两个重复的戏码

导演的拍摄手法被人诟病，豆瓣评分5.4，依然挡不住我对它的喜爱。喜剧能不能逗你笑，其实没有个标准，因为大家笑点都不一样。好的喜剧不是因为它可以戳中所有人的笑点，而是它总能想办法让你和它达成共情。
上海lockdown的日子里看一部这样的电影，真想感叹，生活如果能像在迪士尼电影中那么美好就好了。
