A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

我是快进看的，故事确实很针砭时弊了，但是情节推进太慢，时长太长，实在很难坚持看下来
而律师处理事件的全过程毫无波澜，没收希望到失落，无助到转机的情绪切换，太平了。
160分钟真是把节奏和情绪都拿捏住了 除去主角太光环伟光正 主线案件剧情复杂得还挺严谨 这么多人物也能随着主角抽丝拨茧让人记住 看完再看原片名可真贴切啊 斗争万岁 （真是东亚文化一体 同样的故事换个背景放在韩国也毫不违和 代入了一下如果韩国来拍 必然会交代主角背景 也必然是个小人物 事件发展会更合理
底层人民真的太惨了，就像被权力脏手扼住了咽喉，他们呼救无门，他们拼命挣扎，他们痛到窒息。这不是励志片，这是恐怖片！更可怕的是，时至今日，仍有「印度一桩谋杀案关键证物被猴子偷走」这样的新闻
刑讯逼供，屈打成招甚至被死亡，黑警勾结，官官相卫，而执政党为了维护自己的管治也是默许纵容。
印度电影给我的感觉就是长，还得唱歌，还有就是…说话的时候总是在摇头…正义感真的能战胜现实吗？希望可以
事件是震撼的 但拍摄手法人物塑造太过于刻板流水账
看了n部日剧后改印度片换换口味，听说是小众高分片，片名着实劝退（个人预感这部在若干年后也许会像《五杀瞒天记》和最近重火的《魔幻时刻》后突然火了），但实际却非常震撼。像印度版的《辩护人》，但感觉本片更胜一筹。还分了两天才看完，第一天没看完以后就去搜剧透看仨人到底怎么了。ps.律师演员很帅。不过看了影评才知道电影结局给美化了，现实的结局跟电影还是相去甚远。
其实，所有角色设定都很脸谱化，好人恒好，恶人恒恶，被践踏的和被仰望的，开金手指的人权律师几乎战无不胜，仍然但是人生实在是太悲惨了，两个多小时就这么簌簌溜走
期待有朝一日聶樹斌案也能拍成電影，一定更加精彩感人！

2021.12.30 终于看完了 在豆瓣热门好几天了 之前一直没来看 首先他们的印地语就决定了他们国家注定是一个很土的国家 印度版的《辩护人》实在太长了 印度片居然都能拍164分钟就离谱了啊 其实很多剧情是可以稍微优化下删减点时间的 差不多又是一部记录式的电影 介绍了钱德鲁这个为了人权不收钱的好律师 还改变了种姓隔离制度的大圣人了 94年的印度人还在光脚走路也太离谱了吧 他们这监狱就这么小防守这么薄弱不随便越狱吗(当然他们没越狱)前1/3段索然无味 后面开始渐入佳境 但是这个配乐是真的不行太土了！那个警察“我不知道 我不记得了”一起回答也太搞笑了 虽然知道印度人因为光照的缘故肤色较深 但有些人也太黑了吧 纯黑人了都 印度的傻逼警察也没救了又打人又贿赂“一句谎言需要十句谎言来弥补”太对了
大概 是因为自己没有 所以 特别羡慕那些 有的人吧

印度人社会发展程度前现代，但文化跟随还是挺敏感，学会和美国人一样拍政治正确电影了。
生如蝼蚁，命如草芥。

优缺点都非常明显吧，对于中国主流观众来说，我们终于能了解阿米尔汗的高种姓电影之外，更加真实的印度底层世界，部落矛盾等历史问题的刻画当然是蜻蜓点水，但至少给了大家一个了解的切入点；法庭戏的部分也非常扎实，庭审思路、案例引用、拖时间等桥段俱佳。问题主要是前半段的叙事效率特别低，主角团两条线拆开来拍本就让前半部分的时间过长，还有很多民族特色的歌舞打乱叙事节奏，律师刚开始的罢工戏拍的也比较粗糙。总的来说，情绪的真挚程度远胜于故事本身，特别像《辩护人》那个时期的韩国电影。
