During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 韩国电影脑洞越来越大，虚构的空间也越来越大，神奇的国家。。。
我想说：这些人精能肆意妄为地欺骗民众、大谈政治，却看不清自己。徐都能无所不用其极地去追求自己内心的“理想”了，却不愿认可、不愿加入执政党一派，诚然推倒“独裁”这是多么荣耀的理想追求呀，但其实只要经济繁荣、能让百姓平安喜乐也就够了，有机会借这平台为百姓谋福祉也是好的。金都靠着徐爬到这高度了，却还坚持着“大义”而不认可徐的方式，所以输了
过于电影手法，起承转合都太电影了。流水线作品，缺少情绪。
这样的题材拍的不沉闷很流畅很难得，观影可看性很高。不清楚韩国历史就不对此评价，只是影子（昌大）对大多数选民的看法是直白的、精准的——口号不是良药，企图让所有人都满意往往大家都不满意，所以极端分化身份，创造对立，尽量圈主比对面多的人就可以胜利了。
难以置信竟然有政治家觉得要光明正大赢得选举
太儿戏，太想当然，比的居然是谁比谁更混蛋，而未触及真正的问题，即程序正义和结果正义究竟哪个才是对的。
没有传统韩国政治电影的暗流汹涌，而是平稳缓慢的叙事去讲述历史，整体倒没有枯燥，一直在个体中进行辩驳，感觉从去年开始韩国电影一改猛拳套路开始做起了人文思辨，走更加内敛的创作方向。
幕后影子推手政治作秀，民众只会看见他们想看见的，听到他们想听到的，为了自诩的正义不惜一切代价，原本的民主理想慢慢被膨胀的权力欲望所蚕食。
是不择手段赢得胜利，还是坚持大义静待民众觉醒，真是艰难的选择。影子先生只能在幕后，一定很寂寞吧
阴谋权斗，选举说到底还是靠见不得阳光的手段。基于真实改变这几个字令人害怕
没想到讲政治的片子结尾可以这么温暖。
程序正义与结果正义
韩国电影脑洞越来越大，虚构的空间也越来越大，神奇的国家。。。
现实中如果真有这样的能人而又没有在明面上，那后果大概率是死得很惨。
很喜欢候选人坚守正义到最后。“一个政客乱扔垃圾的国家就是厕所。”“把野心放在正直的前面只会一事无成。”以及，影子对候选人的感情，真的不是爱嘛？
中规中矩……谈政治和权谋，韩国还是太嫩了……
光线越强，阴影就越暗。我喜欢在灯光下看你。
