剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     期待越高失望越大，魔幻元素不少，A24也有质量保证，但是故事内核却很单调

    D+ / 是我不太喜欢的一类电影，看起来是美的，视听是好的，但这种美又是数字技术所堆积出来的失去灵魂的东西，精致清晰却空洞。A24作为厂牌而成为影像风格标识的结果可能未必会比所谓“漫威”要好多少，作者意识的收敛又是否是受制于此呢。

    叙事够简单，2.5吧，整体是两头不讨好的作品。局部表达可以看出Lowery的作者性很羸弱，而投身产业条线后，反倒让人误以为是文艺大导被商业制作禁锢住表达一般。与其说是惋惜，不如说是心疼，一个有文艺梦但拍不出水平的尴尬导演。
