The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 不是我的菜，跟la la land比不是一个量级的。歌很一般，没啥记忆点，调度也没亮点，林的《汉密尔顿》我就不感冒，这部也一样。
爵士春秋的自述融合爱乐之城的切出切入，音乐剧歌曲还是蛮好听，歌词内容比较脱口秀。

作为处女作无可指摘，太厉害了！就是今年的爱乐之城，叙事节奏出色，每首歌的创作灵感正是乔纳森自己的生活点滴，从传记电影到自传音乐剧再到他的生活，环环相嵌，有感动有遗憾，不落俗的励志片，音乐、转场设计、镜头想象力都好，加菲的表演也很棒
电影中那首几乎磨死乔纳森的金曲《胜于话语》里，创作者问到，“恐惧还是爱？别说出答案。”
没有共鸣 唱的也感觉不咋好听。 6.5/10
就为了老太太看个热闹，真是圆满的人生，临走还有人送南法别墅，“我像是会拒绝一套南法别墅的人吗？”哈哈哈哈哈哈

前半段很寻常的一步一步来叙事甚至在视听语言上没什么亮点，后面则直接爆发，也对应了标题吧

而加菲所有关于内心戏的舞台独白段落，像是在突破第四面墙与观众对话，却让整个片更像舞台剧，也让它比看上去更适合剧院而不是做成电影。
精神唐顿家人。甚至比1还好。南法别墅和庄园电影双线，没想到的剧情安排。还是一如既往地哭着笑着看完全剧，完全忘了身在何处，觉得剧中人就是现在的身边的而不是一百年前的，每一个人物的悲喜都强烈共鸣。
