The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 素食杠精挑事端，店主刷新美食圈。师从香港黄秋生，自产自销卖得欢。

轻微血腥。挺幽默的，对素食者和虚伪的讽刺。
大晚上跳着看完这么重口味的片子……法国人反讽一流。
好多地方看得我下体一紧...够重口，但是拍得有点拖沓。
对素食主义者非常不友好，但是挺搞笑的，法国版人肉叉烧包，最后结尾强行一句话交代被逮捕我觉得没啥必要。
三条总结:1、吃素的人不一定善良 2、老实人被逼急了也很可怕 3、越好吃的东西越有可能带来罪恶
其实比较一般的片子，明明题材很劲爆，但拍出来却平平淡淡，既不恐怖，也不惊悚，也不知道是哪里出了问题，可能是导演想用喜剧的壳来装恐怖的魂，结果弄了个四不像，男主的样子太菜，没有一狠到底或是满满变狠，和黄秋生的表演不是一个级别的。
翻译里面竟然有，学黄秋生，哈哈，虽然很血腥，但很搞笑。
太搞笑了，美中不足的是结尾有点仓促，要是朋友肉贩子吃过伊朗猪肉后也开始贩卖就完美了
不解释，直接五星！最后怎么能被逮呢？败笔！哈哈哈哈
很容易联想到之前看的新鲜，不同的是那个走香艳路线，这个走的搞笑路线，把吃人这种恐怖题材拍的笑死人还蛮带感的。素食者、伊朗肉这些设定也可以细品。
像数次出现的《奥德赛》的词句，海上历险与倒叙。被强调的元素都与梦魇相连，房间壁纸的船与海，钨丝灯，书中的人物像，和象棋。下赢这盘棋，从米尔科手中、也从大都会酒店前台拿回手表。对纳粹有用的一个奥地利犹太人，非神志丧失而不能赢，时代死局。耀眼阳光只是幻觉。
暗黑喜剧，虽然有过于血腥（吃人肉的镜头），但台词对类似素食者、环保主义者、爱宠者、放生者的说明，印象深刻。凡事过犹不及
为了讥讽素食主义，无厘头的故事令人很难入戏。
