The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 属于那种看了不会反感的网大，不恶俗不谄媚，甚至还有点风格。剧本简单粗糙，有点老土，但是整部片完成得算可以。
剧本虽说弱了一些，但是作为动作片还是足够合格。

用逻辑讲不通，用理性讲不通，只能讲感情了，都讲得通了。感觉主人公像是击败一个个小赌场，最后跟boss决斗的是一场梭哈，到最后了还不放心，感觉是个骗局。其实一切都是那么的真实。

黑人电影，但不纯粹，路人角色有白人，西部黑帮片，节奏挺传统，慢中有稳，台词俏皮话很现代，画面配乐都不错，就是对话多有点墨迹，耍帅有范儿，故事没啥意思，6.5
基本上只有开枪可以看一看，但还没有特别漂亮的特写。片中主角们的计策实在让人看不懂，不明白为啥要一次次地送上门去。最后对凶手动机的反转也并不精彩，只会让你觉得啊是这样啊，如此而已。很多配乐都怀疑是在中国电影交响乐团培训出来的，怎么会是那样个风格呢？
这片子给6分，太过分了，西方欧美日韩对我们的文化渗透多么的可怕，正的都被说反了，好的都给抹黑了！这才是中午武侠的高分片，鼎力支持！好片，好片！

虽说不是这类影片的受众，但是导演和创作团队的用心程度大大超出了网大水准。打斗戏的设计，兵器的设计，加上带有西部片风味的配乐颠覆了以往观众对网大的认知。
选角很好
勉强看得下去的网大，低低低配版徐皓峰的质感。
