The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 沉郁的气质，叙事上颇为反类型，但略显不够powerful
以为是犯罪动作片，却是中规中矩的黑色宿命主题，大量对白和氛围衬托，对男主奥斯卡伊萨克的演技要求挺高！赌场里的21点大赛，一心只想复仇的少年，关塔那摩虐待囚犯的精神折磨，都在影片中！最后隔着玻璃对手指的镜头，想起了ET！
种族文化大旗深入骨髓了，现在非得一部电影里主角肤色对半才足够政治正确吗？

格调，节奏和配乐都很合意，尤其音乐，很棒。故事么，一般般，但是还是给五分

并没有那么差，但又的确很多时候并没有满足类型期待。
这部电影的主导就有问题，是战争创伤吗？可是他们没有真正的反思，奇克的父亲不是因为虐囚自责而自杀，却是因成为了别人的替罪羊心理不平才自杀……所以此后的一切都毫无意义，只是在歪打歪撞。
没有上一部《第一归正会》好看 施拉德真的一直在重复布列松加陀思妥啊 赌博跟复仇绑在一起感觉脸不到一块儿
熔炼美国最好的几个导演。紧密嵌套的声画锁匙，所以有一些赘笔也被含入，在电影的齿轮中只顾运进。松散？那是眼睛栖息的地方。
2.5；看的时候就觉得是在pandemic期间用无人的赌场拍的，一查Wikipedia果然，用了六天就拍完了。Paul Schrader还是安心写剧本吧，好的影评人未必是好导演。
我觉得把最后34分钟截掉，反而是个比较完整的故事～～
施拉德是一位优秀的编剧 但不是优秀的导演 剧情太散且闷… 广角监狱那段是唯一亮点 ？

极端虚伪的好莱坞，极端虚伪的电影，为关塔那摩里的恐怖分子喊冤？谁为911死的美国人喊冤？谁为恐怖分子杀害的美国人喊冤？
有些拍摄手法比如鱼眼广角是有趣的，但是大部分故事线动机都非常薄弱…救赎的合理性也没有讲的很清楚…爱情线也太突兀了…
