The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Quite heavy both in visual appearance and symbolism, though not necessarily abundant in meaning and coherence. The somewhat progressive reinterpretation of the legend is hackneyed at best, pandering at worst

开始以为看了个奇幻电影 中间以为看了个恐怖电影 看到最后 好家伙 原来是个文艺片
观影过程中我内心戏好多，以下为节选：
伟大作家去世褪色，身体化作尘埃散去，但其完成和未完成的作品光鲜亮丽的延续下去，导演以此纪念去世的哥哥。
神叨叨的………就是觉得这种结构和叙事蛮神奇的，他为啥一直带着那条绿腰带
不应该在David Lowery的电影里过度强求叙事性，但这样的一个故事，如果没有它该有的叙事性和逻辑性，那么带给观众的只会是各种“一厢情愿”的解读，可能到最后，对当时历史风貌的感受要比所谓的骑士精神更加深刻，人物也确实拧巴了点，看得不算轻松。
把一个古典故事自做聪明的改成小学教辅读物，直追央视青少年文教动画片二十年前的水平。
这片得在影院看 音效太棒了 故事改编的也蛮好 很喜欢片尾部分future flash的音画处理
亚瑟王故事地位差不多类似咱们的西游记吧，导演是鬼魅浮生那位，所以大概就是贾樟柯拍了孙悟空和虎力大仙斗法比砍头呗，不觉得有几个老外能看懂。。

诗的镜头，童话的章节，神性的音乐，视听体验好的无话可说，剧情的沉浸感时有时无比较可惜，高文爵士落荒而逃到坦然面对一段蒙太奇加分，表意晦涩模糊，权力是王者的海市蜃楼，勇气是骑士的铭文丰碑。戴夫的肌肉so sexy，男演员能不能不要把胸肌和乳沟露的那么明显啊，打扰到我欣赏艺术了（不是）
最终主旨也就是个成长故事
无功无过剧情老套的儿童片，没劲时可以看看。
“今日还是青春韶华，明日就垂垂老矣。”上次看到这么美的黑白影像还是帕维乌的《冷战》。
前边黑白段落非常好，钉子这个段落不认可，能感觉到导演想要表达一种漂泊后对于家乡的感情，就是太简单了，总体还是不错的一部个人感情表达的影片，镜头语言真好，就是太个人化，对于导演来说也许是成功的，对于观众就有些欠缺。
