The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 对极端素食主义的一场血腥幽默。寻找伊朗猪的过程像极了伊坂幸太郎《不然你搬去火星啊》里面的钓鱼套路，哪里有主义，哪里有目标——一切主义都架构在经济利益的基础上。
极尽讽刺之力，让抵制肉食的狂热分子变成肉食，还挺有意思的恐怖喜剧。

我看到了混乱的场面，被压垮了什么都做就是不做菜的主厨，愤世嫉俗颇有当家风范的二厨，一堆不知云云乱七八糟到处惹事的手下，奇葩无理取闹的顾客。。。
群像叙事+一镜到底，真的让观众感受到了餐厅内外协调的重要性！
生活很艰难，很压抑，工作内容又太多太杂太碎，很轻易就能把一个人压垮。
好，被酒窝男孩的一声一声babe打动了，简直苏到心坎。“那就让他们看一场好戏”也太超过了吧。。。着实心动了一把。

几乎是全剧一镜到底真是看得比1917还过瘾，虽说没有什么大人物大事件，但鸡毛蒜皮的突发事件和那些完全没防备的依据吐槽骂街或者挖苦真的看得人头皮发麻，真实。
