The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 不论是武侠片，还是主旋律，徐克始终有自己的电影语言与表现方式，而这套体系是超越题材本身的。抗美援朝的战士们本就是英雄，而徐克用自己的方式，将这些英雄塑造成了带有侠义之心的传奇人物。3月10日，13:15-15:45，王府井横店影城。
战争是残酷的，有些地方还可以！但是还是有两点我觉得没有改善，1人物2节奏感！人物上来说还是不够饱满，尤其是伍万里，我个人感觉他在第一部的冲动还可以说是初生牛犊不怕虎的话，那么第二部里的冲动表现就让我对这个人物没有一丝好感，还有就是对美军的刻画还是呆板不够立体！节奏感是现在国产电影急需改进的地方，这电影某些时刻让我觉得好多余，比如抱着五千里的尸体时美军突然的停手不接着烧啦，还有比如一群美军围住啦伍千里突然停手啦？坐看伍千里炸桥吗？实在觉得在故事上需要更多打磨，千万不要只是为了让人感动而强行煽情，水到渠成的自然才能使得故事更有回味，比如像拯救大兵瑞恩
没有公正客观的责任……
文戏实在是有点多，且配乐太足太满了。志愿军有点过于神勇了，美国人如果第一部还想回家过圣诞🎄跟家人团聚之类的，第二部已经是生死攸关了，但仍然打得很心不在焉，很……弱智。后来编剧更让美国人自己弄洒了几箱汽油，炸了自己的碉堡。我老公还说，那怎么了，他们害怕所以乱打一气呀。我说那志愿军应该更害怕呀……为啥没有乱打呢？
最后的一人报道着实戳人，这部的水门桥更加惨烈，枪林弹雨之间，七连用血肉之躯捍卫了军人意志，彰显了中华之魂！
为什么我看着炸桥过程这么糟心，完全没配合的感觉，你打你的，我打我的。
徐克的“独自上场”，令时长虽未减去多少却大幅提升观感的下集，成了最符合大档期需求的动作类型片，很多上集里被单纯渲染为狂轰滥炸的场面都被注入“有趣”的设计，无用但必需的文戏也成了头尾的装点，更为凸出战斗转场的层次感与刺激点的连续。
不是炸炸炸就是各种突兀的煽情，咱就是说能不能稍微结合一下别这么简单粗暴？起码得有个剧情吧……还有很多血腥镜头，小朋友就别来受罪了
