The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 先别管什么隐喻不隐喻的，视觉感受真是非同凡响。饭前服用疗效好！
这样一部电影，定位挺尴尬的其实。大的历史框架是不能动的，否则就变成架空历史了；虚构的人物只能在既定的框架里作有限的游走，创作空间相当狭窄，而观众对于最后的结局早就了然于胸；对历史人物的描写也处于暧昧地带，介于写实和虚构之间。那这样一来，作者对历史人物（比如张伯伦）的重新评价，其说服力就会大打折扣了。
精密又宏大的造景，跳脱又震撼的设定。封神！
杂乱昏暗的世界背景下充斥着各类畸形怪物，在大量定格模型的镜头下显得真实可怖，以一种先遣队探险式的路线走进下层布满惊恐无序压抑的环境中，看出了压榨掠夺和战争的反讽元素，但导演最终的核心没有能把握到。

但我不推荐观看这部电影，整部电影一个多小时，几乎没有配乐，剧情晦涩，古老的定格形式，无对白，一般人很难坚持看完更别说看懂。
那些吹的就算了吧，烂尾20年，拿个30年的制作来尬吹，也就是想到了有个项目可以恰烂钱骗投资，碰巧剧本还中规中矩
画质和音乐及两者之和谐好评。
电影结尾写着Munich Agreement为英国及联盟换来时间备战，就像高赞说的—导演脑中的片名其实是<张伯伦: 被误解的英雄>。讽刺的是，1938年英法德意搞定了Settlement of the Czechoslovak ，把Sudetenland拱手相让给德国，而捷克只能任人宰割。
