The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 片头这彩色全景拍的和商场里卖电视的地方放的风景片似的，还有到处不合时宜的bgm 真的想说就这呀
若把此片看成是一部私家回忆，那确是很好了。

虽然有着一个沉重的时代背景，但片子显然融入了更多儿童视角的单纯美好。父亲母亲的形象选角俨然是偶像派的。黑白画面也是那么的细腻干净。

故乡是离不开啊，贝尔法斯特残留着一些如同《1984》的控制感。在这样的动荡之下，buddy像所有小男孩一样发誓要娶那个喜欢的女孩。家人宽容待人处事，这样的家庭怎么会有解决不了的困难呢。
不是套个黑白滤镜就怀旧复古高级了，电影院屏幕画面是彩色的看的人却是黑白的，这个设计没理解出彩的点在哪，从故事到叙事都平庸，一些构图和镜头语言更不明表里，奥斯卡最佳影片居然入围这部都没有暗处的女儿，实在不解。
技术很流畅，非常多的景深镜头运用，非常多的对比节奏的对比构图的对比等应用，蛮好的学习案例；今天赫然发现是哈利波特和密室里那个绣花枕头教授导的………震惊了
电影是彩色的，现实是黑白的，看到了对电影的爱。除此之外一般般

镜头感超级好的一部黑白片，关于北爱尔兰的近代故事。
其实任何作者在拍给家乡的电影都会因为很浓的情绪没法评价，在我心中（罗马）是封神的。本片只能拿45分。

小男主角可爱又幽默，染上黑白色也不能和罗马相比，太过匠气
不同于此类电影大部分都会仅仅对过去年代的简单回味思念，电影从头到尾都贯穿着周遭的不稳定以及恐慌，其实是很真实的。有人选择离开有人选择留下，也有更多没有选择的权利，“爱尔兰人大多是移民的”听的让人感同身受而又bittersweet。（如果觉得这个电影“仅仅是从北爱去英格兰而已而很无病呻吟”的话建议可以看一下北爱近几十年的历史背景以及为什么很多人选择了离开）

影片最大的亮点也在于此，黑白的granny镜片倒映的舞台是彩色的，其他的优点则乏善可陈。
谁说黑白没有好滤镜，这不就是光鲜亮丽的黑.肯尼斯指导的片子看一部骂一部啊.
