不要再给母爱贴上所谓的道德标签，看似不可理解的行为也许就是内心一直渴望的生活状态，不可以挑战约定俗称的社会规则，否则就要被质疑与斥责，究竟是社会的弊端还是女性的悲哀，令人深思。奥利维亚·科尔曼的表演无懈可击，期待二次封后！
看得心惊肉跳，是不是每一个母亲都会有相似的心路历程？子女是与母亲灵魂纠缠一生的他者。
没看过原著小说，但感觉这是一部有些难度的电影，难度在于要以什么来支撑这么弱的一个故事：开头即结尾，48岁患有脑癌的女教师来到一片谈不上怡人的海滩度假，她观察游客，帮忙找孩子、偷玩偶，与不礼貌的一家人发生小摩擦……若把这些作为故事的主体肯定是不行，即便加上女二号与虚伪男教授的戏、妮娜出轨的戏、女主逃离家庭责任的爽与悔（暗线）、女主与房东的暧昧……也还是弱。但贯穿始末的那种紧张气氛很吊人，而这种气氛就是女主在最后时光的心理，恰到好处地填满了故事的间隙。女主的结局反映了社会对女性的无情：你若强行挣脱家庭对你的束缚去追求自由人生，你的命运也许就是这样。此外，尽管女二与教授的那场戏意在隐喻女主离家出走前的处境，但毕竟完全脱离了女主的内视角而又无处可借，处理得不够专业。总体还比较喜欢。
1，本片译作《失去的女儿》是不是更合适？
这片看短评，也能感知到男女之间的差异。很多男性很难感受到一件他们认为是自然而然的事情会给女性带来多大的压力，而这不仅仅是在肉体上。这是女性独有的道德困境。
3，不少的段落让我真心感到孩童的吵闹和恼人，所以近年自己是否适合生儿育女要值得商榷了
一开始氛围挺好（得益于配乐），后面越来越混乱以及奇怪，想要拍女性面对孩子的不知所措崩溃的情感，没问题，那又加那么多奇奇怪怪悬疑的家族对抗戏份呢？？？

压抑的情绪加上悬疑的气氛让人如坐针毡，可能也是母亲内心最真实的刻画。
依赖了女主角精准出色的表演
3.0，科尔曼的哭戏啊，令人怜惜又坚忍不拔，华语圈谁能比肩呢？如果可以把现时的情景设计得更精妙一些，影片或许会更成功，不要低估观众的共情力和思考能力，导演想讲的其实在现在的叙事中已经有所提现，过去的种种呈现显得太过刻意。云淡风轻但时而澎湃，就是我们对情感创伤和心路历程最贴切的抚慰和亲昵。
