The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看完骑车在路上的时候，恍然大悟：大boss才是深柜啊。
历史，悬疑，爱情。每个部分都说了又没有全说。节奏很奇怪，本来应该有趣的故事也完全让人提不起兴趣
好喜欢，属于你能猜到下一步的情节但它又永远比你想的多一步，狗控流下了幸福又痛苦的泪水。。。。

哎呀，一旦知道有同性要素，关注点就都在主角们的情爱上了，明明是犯罪悬疑类型，重点是揭露对少数群体的压迫，我真是太不应该了。
虽然是小场景，小制作，但也不能吝惜5颗星，
还行吧，比较复古的西部牛仔，不是很精彩，故事还是不错的。

导演不是在讲述一个发生在黑暗时代的同性恋罪案故事，而是将一个同性恋故事用那样的时代来做背景，包装于一个侦探故事中。导演太关注其中同性恋的内涵了，予以太多的强调，让一桩真实事件变得并不真实。
