剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     一开始我以为这只是一部普普通通格式标准的传记片，但从它舞台剧式的演出，夸张的表现方式中就可以看出这部电影的闪光之处，更不要说本就出色的表演与音乐了。但是全片从头到脚都包裹了一层浮夸，所以不是我的菜。

    确实有被狠狠的打动到，加菲的表演增色很多。个人觉得音乐剧与电影的融合很好，当然因此也能想象到批评者们的矛头一定是指向与音乐对影像的侵占，但全片最艺术化最棒的部分依然是影像化的——游泳池里的五线谱太美了。

    给纽约theatre and theatre junkies的一封情书。central park delacorte theatre, ny theatre workshop，playwrights horizons...全都是戏剧生活里忘不掉的回忆。正值Sondheim老爷子忌日，theatre legends们出来唱Sunday一段，看得直掉眼泪-对我来说，全剧唯一精华。之前workshop出现的作曲家和作家，也都是真实的theatre创作者们。对Jon本人的剧没什么感觉（音乐实在不感冒），这一部TTB也稍显幼稚粗浅。可是贵在真情。Andrew演的Angels in America可作为90年代AIDS事件的补充拓展，那剧是真有深度和灵魂。。

    Artists are assholes... 结构和音乐都很喜欢，卡司也棒，加菲演得太自然了，长胖了还有点萌。哈金斯太惊艳了，《歌舞青春》这都多少年了，还这么光彩夺目，只要她出现在镜头里我就移不开眼睛，开口就是当年的金嗓子，绝了。

    三星半，觉得前面多线剪辑有点乱（过快），但是从作品presentation最后一首歌但到结尾很多泪点，再回头看前面的叙事，情绪爆发就显得非常顺理成章…加菲演的很好；好爱LMM，怎么可以那么全能，导演处女秀就这个水平好厉害…
